About this listen
Locus Awards - Nominee - 2021
Hugo Award - 2021
The fifth installment in New York Times best-selling author Seanan McGuire's award-winning Wayward Children series, Come Tumbling Down picks up the threads left dangling by Every Heart a Doorway and Down Among the Sticks and Bones.
When Jack left Eleanor West's School for Wayward Children she was carrying the body of her deliciously deranged sister - whom she had recently murdered in a fit of righteous justice - back to their home on the Moors.
But death in their adopted world isn't always as permanent as it is here, and when Jack is herself carried back into the school, it becomes clear that something has happened to her. Something terrible. Something of which only the maddest of scientists could conceive. Something only her friends are equipped to help her overcome.
Eleanor West's "No Quests" rule is about to be broken.
Again.

Excited For The Next Chapter
March 2022 | 4/5
Not exactly sure how this book has me feeling. I do love the characters and the world of course, but this book is all setup and tying up loose ends. It works, but it's not really exciting like some of the others.
We do spend time with some of my favourite characters, there's a quest, and learning more about how things work with each title is awesome.
Reading this series is a blast - it doesn't take its self too seriously and still pushes you to grow as you read. You'll find something to love in each title.

wonderful
I love every single book of the Wayward Children but this one is my absolute favorite so far.
i was very surprised of how nice is the performance of the author herself. Seanan have a wonderful voice and I could feel every single characters. She added a lot of emotions to some moments and I was smitten. my only issue is sometimes she's getting a bit ahead of herself and she's was speaking way too quickly. It's a bit nitpicky, because she is a marvelous author and narrator. thank you Seanan for your work
