Overall a Winner
This is a thriller with supernatural elements. I really enjoyed the story and the narration was incredible. At time the story drug on or moved slowly, but overall I really enjoyed it and would read more by Ronald Malfi again. The first chapter alone was heartbreaking and beautifully written.

Preferred the ebook
Switched to the ebook and liked it better! this was my third attempt with trying this narrator but he is not my cup of tea. Sorry!

Really enjoyed this one
As it started off I was like ehhh I dunno.. but I am glad I continued to listen. The settings of this authors books are always cold, forested spooky places and I really love the natural imagery it brings to my mind. I got deep into the storyline on this and was pleased enough with the ending.

Enthralling
The pacing was actually okay which I found refreshing. Plot is decent and I like the handful of red herrings sprinkled throughout the story which keep the reader/listener feeling involved. The author ties things up neatly at the end and I appreciate the ride I was taken on in this work. I recommend it whole heartedly!

Fascinating!!!
I was hooked right from the first paragraph and that often doesn’t happen to me. Malfi is an incredibly in-depth writer. I can’t believe that I haven’t read/listened to his works before!! I feel like I have been given a gift that I just opened and it is so beyond what I thought it would be!!

wow! Just wow!
Loved it from start to finish. Kept me on my toes till the end. Wow, the ending, all comes together. Narration was perfect. 10/10 I recommend this audio book 10 times over. Enjoy.
