Publisher's Summary
They got everything they wanted...but never had each other.
Touré Wallace and Niomi Spencer were close friends at Finley College, the prestigious HBCU they attended. The attraction that simmered between them every semester was a question they never got to ask or answer before soaring ambitions launched them to opposite corners of the world. Both chased their dreams of grit and glamor as high-profile journalists. They got it all...except a shot at being more than friends.
Years later, Touré is an award-winning investigative journalist and Niomi is America's most popular morning-show host, but they both feel like something’s missing. When their alma mater recruits its most famous alums for an interview during homecoming, every look, every touch is electric. The air hums with what could have been, and they're tempted by what they could have right now, if only for one weekend. Have they traveled the world, chasing something special, when all it took was coming home?
Featuring the musical stylings of Southern University’s marching band, Human Jukebox!

Short but packed
This novella is worth every minute. It has enough story to be a novel and the voice actors are fantastic, giving it a radio play feel. I’ll be looking for more from this author and the voice actors.

too superficial
The story in general is not deep. People who have been longing for each other for 20-something years? See each other and fall in love? Just pathetic.
And I hated the woman’s voice, and she’s supposed to be working on tv ????

Kennedy Ryan Can’t Write a Bad Book. I’m a KR addict.
Kennedy Ryan wins again with a fully human romantic story that proves that romance is just magic + vulnerability + humanity. The main and minor characters are so multilayered and rich. I’m always in awe of how well-researched each aspect of Ryan’s universes are. Whether she’s writing about autism, sports, politics and now HBCUs. Her writing has changed my life and has been so cathartic and inspiring. And lastly, JAKOBI DIEM. Omg. He needs to narrate everything. I would let him narrate my daily life and just be guided by that chocolatey baritone — good god. His voice is insanely sexy but also so versatile. He makes Ryan’s words leap. Thank you both!

Nice story
It was a nice story, but predictable. I did not like the beginner with all of these long phone calls. Also, I did not enjoy the lady's voice.

Kennedy Ryan Continues to Prove Why She's My Fave!
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5
Spice: 2/5
Narrated by: Wesleigh Siobhan & Jakobi Diem
Narration Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5
Length: 2:40
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Miss Kennedy Ryan never fails to keep me entertained. Coming Home is a second chance, contemporary romance novella that follows award winning investigative journalist, Touré Wallace, and America’s most popular morning show host, Niomi Spencer.
I may be biased but I love the narrators! Wesleigh Siobhan and Jakobi Diem are the perfect duo when it comes to a steamy, contemporary romance audiobook. Both narrators were very believable as Touré and Niomi. Personally, I have never disliked any audiobook with Jakobi – he is such a king!
This novella was a perfect second chance romance that will leave you wishing it were a full-length book. I was invested right from the beginning! Kennedy Ryan is one of my favorite authors and again, she did not disappoint. She has a way of empowering the women in her stories and giving them strong, powerful roles. And the men! They are supportive, uplifting, caring men who are proud of their women and their accomplishments.
10/10 recommend if you want a quick, easy listen with a delightful story, loveable characters and the perfect amount of steam.

This is exactly what I wanted
I’m am so impressed by how well done this novella written. With only 12 chapters the author does a fantastic job at making me feel for the characters and rooting for their love. Nothing felt rushed or too much for the lack of pages. I loved this so so much

Female narrator hard to listen to
Predictable short story. The female narrator spaced her words unnaturally at times, and it was hard to listen to and follow.
