Publisher's Summary
Jasmine knows she can easily protect the famous and charming singer Kaleb Quinn, but how will she resist him?
While performing one night, Kaleb Quinn claims he’s engaged to the woman of his dreams, Jasmine Peters, to escape frenzied fans. Just after the announcement is made, a vicious stalker promises to kill two people if Kaleb doesn’t follow through. Marrying Jasmine is more than he’s ever dared hope for; the trouble is, she’s been hired to protect him, not play the role of his wife. He soon realizes his new wife might be the ultimate threat to his heart.
Jasmine Peter’s deadly career makes it impossible for her to fall in love. But will that change when she’s required to marry Kaleb Quinn as part of his protection detail? Luckily, Jasmine is much too smart to fall for the perfect man.

Cami Checketts does it again
I love how this author can diversify the stories she tells in her series. I also love the string female roles she gives many of the heroines in her books, especially is this book. Doesn't every woman want to kick a man's ass when they pass her off? It is also dine well to see how even the toughest people can have a tender side. Great job of developing all the characters in this story.

Favorite of her books
It’s a really fun one, and while themes are repeated in other books, this one has enough turns to keep it fresh. I love it.
I love this male reader if his the most, but I’ll only every give him 3 stars because in any intense scene he’s started ready in a bad fury with his pitch careening all over forcing me to adjust the volume every other sentence. Blackstone could’ve done a better job than that.

Kaleb and Jasmine
This is a Fast-paced, short clean romance. It is Jasmine, Bree's sister from the first book and Kaleb Quinn, the country singer, Ryder's brother. When Jasmine meets Kaleb at Bree's wedding she is enamored and she had already loved his music. But Jasmine has very thick walls around her heart and even if Kaleb shows her love and patience she will not put him in danger or tarnishes his light with her dark. But events push them to get married,,, and suddenly proximity and fate interfere.

Good story
I just wish the female character wasn't always in her head all the time.
I understand the conflict in the story, but why constantly mentioning it. I got really irritated, but if you can skip over the constant back and forth then its a great listen

Good story line but repetitive
I liked the story line but there was too much repetition of the obstacles in the way of love. Hearing the main character repeat the same thoughts so many times detracted from my enjoyment. As it was a free book, I stuck with it but would have returned it if I had paid.
