the narrator never changes the intensity of her voice as if everything is life and death. No spice...

I can't even concentrate on the story... where is the spice? The voice of the narrator never changes... monotone of constant 8/10 intensity that you can't tell what's actually important or intense, never calm.... honestly I don't think I can finish... I'm at chapter 10 of 33.
