About this listen

A man broken by despair and depression, Grant Legate finds himself in a once-in-a-lifetime situation after receiving an Ultimate Edition copy of Continue Online. All he wishes for is a distraction from the thoughts plaguing his waking hours. He dives in headfirst, unknowing of the AI's intentions. They offer him the chance to play as one of their own, a NPC deserving of a proper send off. What he discovers during the journey shakes Grant to his very core.

Only getting started

Starts off with a Human, with all the good & bad that entails. Great world building IRL & Online. Steady progression for Character Development, human and otherwise.

A whole book of "get off my lawn.

Mere lip serive to video game culture. the book is entirely missing the massive part of mmorpg, and the multiplayer might as well have been on a LAN for number of characters. The molasses@ 1 kelvin pace of "get off my lawn" should have been over in the prologue or at least have been over by chapter 3. In short, it is not litrpg, but a single player blog without a plot.
