Hmm what happened to Dick Hill?

I love his narration but this one completely fell flat for me. All the weird accents for the characters were really not great. The story was ok.

Very dated cop book

Was probably great in it's day, but this type of writing doesn't age well IMO. Even Dick Hill as narrator couldn't save it.
