Publisher's Summary

Plying the stars and forgotten backwaters of the Imperium, Rogue Trader Captain Athene Santiago and her eclectic crew are chasing pirates when their quarry inexplicably vanishes, only to return a moment later.

Unwilling to let her bounty go unclaimed, Santiago ventures aboard the now stricken vessel, but what she finds defies reason and leads to a discovery of something ancient and terrifying that could threaten not only her crew and her ship but the entire sector.

Over too soon

For the relatively short length there is a lot of action packed in. The performances are great (although there is a non-human character I wish had been voiced differently or had effects added). The fast pace and various plot turns keep things interesting. I liked that it was about a Rogue Trader captain and crew instead of Inquisitors or Space Marines. The audio drama effects were fun. It feels like it was worth the price and time. The listening experience was satisfying.
