enjoyed better

I like David Drake stories,,, but counting the cost, was not my cup of tea,,, the Warrior was better.
but neither of these, were great. But,, they were still ok,

Amazing!!

Counting the cost is a fascinating look into the politics of planetary warfare. The warrior, is simply one of the best scifi stories I have ever experienced.
