About this listen
Do you want to create a sustainable food forest and garden in your backyard, but don’t know how to start? Plenty of beginning gardeners want to grow their own food, but aren’t sure they can handle the maintenance. Put all of those worries aside — this book will walk you through every step.
First, you will learn how to plan an eco-friendly garden that will work with whatever space you have available. If you have a decent-sized front or backyard, then you’re all set. But what if you live in an apartment or have a tiny yard? No problem! You can effectively garden in:
- Window boxes
- Indoor buckets
- Patio trellises
- Raised beds
After you determine what you want to grow and where, you’ll learn what plants can help your crops flourish. You’ll also learn environmentally friendly methods for maintaining your garden, such as:
- Water-wise gardening that cuts down on water usage
- Making your own compost from food and yard waste
- Using natural approaches to pest control
If you follow the steps in this book to create an eco-friendly, sustainable food forest, you and your loved ones will benefit from the delicious fruits, vegetables, and herbs you grow in your own space.
You’ll be amazed at the bounty you’ll harvest from such a small space without having to expend too much effort or too many resources. It’s possible to create a sustainable food forest around your home, and this book will show you how.

nothing about food forest
interesting about sustainable garden but the title is clearly misleading. I took it to know more about creating a food forest and the book doesn't talk about it at all
