About this listen
Ignas Corvinus, ruler of Vlachia, has been captured by his worst enemies. A puppet ruler has been installed to lead the most powerful nation in Archemi, and he's doing his best to blame Hector Park, his dragon Karalti, and their allies for the world's problems.
Hector has only two words for him: They start with F and end with "you".
In the ongoing war between Archemi and the forces of the Void, the battle for the soul and throne of Vlachia is crucial. With one powerful nation recently conquered and the other being corrupted from within, the world's fate hinges on Hector leading his adopted homeland back from the brink—and perhaps playing a greater role in its future than he ever believed possible.
Join Hector and Karalti on this epic Final Fantasy-style LitRPG adventure, in which the heroes find love, triumph, and struggle against overwhelming odds in the battle to save their world. May contain creative swearing, military humor, and excessive dragons.

What an Ending !
No spoilers here but that was an amazing addition to Archemi. I can't wait for the next installment.

a bit over produced
I love the series and it has been a joy to listen to. however in this latest installment there are a lot of arias where the background music is too loud and makes it hard to hear the narrative. there are also times (like when talking to "Squalor") where the voice overlaying is just way too over the top and makes it so that as a listener I can not make out what is being said clearly. I would love to give this a higher rating but the arias that are over produced realy break the immersion and are irritating as all heck.

by the nine!
the soundbooth team is as always phenomenal with their voice acting and I do absolutely love the fact that there are extra sounds and audio placed in. this is definitely a book worth reading and listening to if you can get your hands on it together.
our favorite Lord Toon definitely continues to have his work cut out for him. but the support of everybody around him is making it work a little bit better all the time. and the fact that we get to see more and more of certain characters is amazing. a number of them I've been rooting to get better closure from book 3.
we get to see more intrigue and combat and just what his Majesty Ignis's plan for Hector truly is and was. and I'm here for it every single step of the way.
