About this listen

Anna never knew werewolves existed until the night she survived a violent attack...and became one herself. After three years at the bottom of the pack, she'd learned to keep her head down and never, ever trust dominant males. But Anna is that rarest kind of werewolf: an Omega. And one of the most powerful werewolves in the country will recognize her value as a pack member—and as his mate.

Reveiw

Once again this is a book I've read before, but even so the performance of the narrator made it feel like new again. I was excited at the faster paced parts and the rousing rendition tugged my heartstrings. even the voices used for each character helped build them in my mind.
As for the plot, well Cry Wolf remains my overall favorite of the series. it's the novel where Anna and Charles really begin to flesh out in your mind's eyes, and it's easy to fall in love with the characters. It's easy to see why Patricia Briggs is a best seller.
Once again I got this with the intent of sharing it with my little brother, who is a little to visually impaired to easily read my paper copies. After listening I know he'll enjoy listening as much as I did my very first read through of the book. I'm glad to be able to share this magical series with him at last!

Extraordinary

Patricia Briggs wove an amazing tale that I can't seem to describe adequately. Holter Graham really brings the tale to life so I highly recommended listening.

Does he need to do the stereotypical Indian American Voice?

I love the story but I’m conflicted over the narrator’s stereotypical Indian American voice for Charles. I mean, I get it. Dude’s supposed to be ancient and his mom was Native American but that doesn’t mean he’d have an accent like that? His father has speaks completely normal. I feel a bit conflicted because the narrator does a relatively normal voice for every other character, except maybe Asil and the main lead (there was a minor Latino character I think too). He does a poor middle eastern accent that is more miss than hit and makes the main lead sound tantrum-ish when she could sound assertive. It’s not gonna stop me from reading the books but I might just not listen to them anymore. In my mind, none of these characters need to have accents unless there’s something about their life mentioned in the book that would indicate they did.

Great story.

I am now addicted to the werewolves. live the honourable way in which these characters have been developed.

Great Series

I have listened to the whole series a few times and I am eagerly awaiting the sixth Alpha & Omega book. Great characters and original storylines. Highly recommend.

So cute!

Honestly, the cutest and best story I’ve read where the characters and plot is written well enough that it doesn’t have to revolve around the romance and sex. A++
