She unwittingly made a deal with him to make her father disappear—then bargained to have the memory erased. To make matters worse, Fred is here to make another bargain: Help him with a “little” demonic problem, or she’s doomed to spend eternity in Hell with her father. The deal? Help Fred neutralize a rival demon, who means to do more harm in her hometown than your average demon deal.

Super funny and well-written with relatable and thoughtful characters. Clever story and fantastic narration - Great QTBIPOC contemporary fiction-definitely recommend!

Enjoyment Affected by Insufferable Narration

I wish I read this with my eyes. I am sure the dialogue wouldn't have been so cringey if I had only the text to ingest. I am walking away from this book unsure if the narrator has actually ever heard humans speak to one another before.
