In between filming the final episodes of Poirot, David Suchet spent over 200 hours in the recording studio to create the very first full-length audio version of the NIV Bible spoken by a single British actor.
This audio Bible is also available as an app. The app contains the full text of the New International Version (British Text), so you can easily navigate the audio or read and listen at the same time.

worth it
best modern translation. very good voice and very good reading. I recommend this to all looking for a audible bible. would be 5 stars if the chapters in the table of contents actually corresponded with the chapters of the the original text. otherwise great.

Tremendous undertaking!
A tremendous undertaking by Sir David who has put his heart into this work. I've listened to a number of audio versions of the Bible and while all are good, this stands out for its clarity, insight, and commitment to the text's meaning. I would recommend this to all. You will be blessed.

Wonderful Reading
David Suchet uses his voice in ways that bring Biblical passages to life. While the reading is great, the navigation of the audio sections is terrible.

The Bible with David Suchet
The readings are very calming, but the Audible Version is not very well organized if you want to listen to a certain book or Chapter in the Bible. Instead of writing Chapter 1108, it should indicate what book and chapter that corresponds to in the Bible. Otherwise, highly recommended for people who have insomnia.

Wonderful way to go through the Bible
David Suchet (alias Hercule Poirot) does an amazing job at narrating the Bible from cover to cover. He reads from the newer NIV translation which is okay. I would have preferred the earlier 1985 revision which in most instances was not gender neutral. But that doesn't stop me from highly recommending this book!

Excellent Narrator
This guy does an excellent voice for God. He really adds the emotion that makes the words sensible. Awe, derision, joy, misery etc. He communicates it all very well.
