About this listen
The Arizona Vengeance is killing it on the ice. But one player can’t seem to keep his eye on the puck - all thanks to the woman he just married to save her life.
“Find your next hockey hero in Sawyer Bennett’s Arizona Vengeance series.” (New York Times best-selling author Jill Shalvis)
My name is Dax Monahan, and hockey is my passion. And if you want to succeed in this sport you have to bust your ass 24/7. I’ve never had a hard time focusing on my career, but when my past comes knocking, no amount of training can prepare me for what lies on the other side of the door.
Regan Miles was always like a sister to me. When a shared tragedy brings us face to face after several years, I’m shocked to see just how much she’s changed. Gone is the shy, awkward little girl that always used to chase me and her brother around. Instead, I’m faced with a gorgeous woman who makes it damn hard to concentrate on anything but her.
Turns out, she’s in trouble, and the only way out is to get married.
I surprise myself when I tell her to marry me. Order her, actually. And, most shocking of all, she doesn’t even hesitate before saying yes.
So it’s settled. We’re getting hitched, and she’s moving to Arizona with me. All platonic, of course.
The catch?
I never knew I’d fall so hard for my best friend’s little sister.

Loved this book!!!
This is a fantastic series!!! Sawyer Benett knows how to pull you in and get you invested. Aiden Snow was the perfect Dax and Virginia Rose was fantastic too. This book showed how friendship can turn into something more. Having that one person who’s known you forever and is willing to do anything for you. It also has gotten me even more excited for the next two books in the series!!!

Best Story of 2019!
I LOVED THIS STORY!
The narrators were fantastic for this story, I really enjoyed listening to them. I have listened to several audiobooks by both of them and they are great.
This story was absolutely amazing. I was hooked from the very beginning after hearing that this is based on a real disease, and that the medication for this disease is accurate to the story. By the end of Chapter 1, I was listening as much as I could because Dax and Regan had an amazing story! The emotions and feelings they went through were so pure and raw, I could do nothing but fall in love with both of them.
This is a must read or listen to story. If you have not listened to or read the other books in this series, that is ok, but it was great to have some backstory, and catch up on what was happening with the other Vengeance players!
I finished listening earlier today and I cannot get this story out of my head. This is one that is going to stick with me!

Tied with Bishop for favourites
I started the Arizona Vengeance Series out of sequence. Dax & Regan's story is perhaps my favourite. I enjoyed the back story and that everything wasnt perfect. The narrators did a great job. this was an easy listen and would recommend it.
