About this listen
Ethan is a directionless 20-something who has finally cast off the heartbreaking responsibilities of his broken boyhood home, but not without irreversible scars and sarcasm. After surviving a tragic accident, he begins to suspect he may actually have something to live for. Is it a hidden purpose? His new beginning? Finding a decent cup of coffee? The answer is unclear, until one morning a familiar stranger appears. The poorly dressed man at Ethan’s door seems to have all the answers. But with those answers comes a grave proposition.
Witty and realistically sarcastic; full of self-redemption and the dark, cosmic inner-workings of life and death. Comically sharp yet lighthearted, Death Dresses Poorly is the bittersweet tale of a young man’s journey through the discarded baggage of his childhood.

Squirrels are more important than you think.
What a fun, wittily written book. Full of sarcasm and angst Death Dresses Poorly takes you on a metaphysical journey through Ethan's eyes as he tries to come to terms with his past and his future.
Marc Watson's performance is great as he breathes life into his characters, while narrating the prose with the skill of a professional audible recording person.
Highly recommend this book, either audio or written. You will smile, laugh, become introspective, sad and be left with a feeling of sweet satisfaction by the end.
Be nice to squirrels.

Great story!
I thoroughly enjoyed this story; A little sarcastic, some dark humor with some very touching spots. I was engaged and entertained the whole way. I found myself thinking about the main character when I wasn’t listening which is a mark of a good book IMO
Reminded me a bit of Chuck Palahniuk
