I’m Hooked!

Ian does a wonderful job of bringing his characters to life. The storyline has many twists and turns, before coming to a sweet conclusion. While I do enjoy a good mystery, my favourite part of this book is the humour, which pairs well with a glass of dry rose. It looks like Valerie and Richard have more adventures ahead, and I look forward to discovering them.

As great as book #1, just hilarious accent

Ian Moore has hit another one out of the park with Death and Fromage :-) And, overall, it’s pretty cool hearing a book performed by its author, ESPECIALLY when the author is really good at it :-) :-) :-) One thing, though: at multiple times during an encounter with a group of Americans, Mr. Moore performs a pretty darn good Aussie accent. Unfortunately, it was supposed to be an American accent. Ah well, I should be used to Brits boogering up their attempts at American accents, eh? ;-) One mitigating factor for Mr. Moore is that, later in the book, his American accent gets better. It’s still not quite right, but it IS a lot better ;-D (And, as opposed to Neil Dudgeon’s Cherringham American accent, Mr. Moore’s Americans speak at various volumes and ranges :-) )

A fun book

I enjoyed it even more than the first…lots of colourful characters. I’m surprised than the author is such a good narrator.

Fun French Caper

I’m really enjoying this series! The writing is very funny, and the narrator (who is the author!) is fantastic. Great accents, very funny delivery.

Not as good as the first

A bit too many bewildering twists - did not quite have the same charm or intrigue or humour as the first in the series.
