Tedious

Unlikable characters. Slow-moving story. Awkward shifts of POV. Can’t think why I finished it. Only good thing was that there was nothing at all graphic when the story introduced a child-porn ring.

It doesn’t get better

I listened for 29 chapters waiting for it to get better or interesting, it did not. I just abandoned the book, after 29 chapters I was still not interested or invested in the characters or murder mystery.

Give this one a miss.
