About this listen

Owen Deathstalker - outlawed, with a price on his head and the blood of a mighty warrior lineage in his veins - had no choice but to embrace a dangerous destiny. With nothing to lose, only he had the courage to take up arms against Queen Lionstone XIV.

Now as he gathers his unlikely allies - the legendary washed-up hero Jack Random, the beautiful pirate Hazel d'Arc, the original Deathstalker long since presumed dead, and the alien Hadenmen whose purposes no human can discern - the eyes of the downtrodden are upon him while the freedom of a galaxy hangs in the balance....

Fun, but unfocused

It was a decent follow-up. Worth the read, it’s just not at all about the DeathStalker - he’s barely in it, and mostly inconsequential to the main plot. The book is almost a spinoff.

All Simon R Green Novels

The story itself is excellent and the narrator only gives it more dimension . Definitely worth owning.

A must read for anyone who has even a hint of happiness in them.

The first book…meh, pretty good but hated the ending…this one? A must read for anyone who has even a hint of happiness in them. It will obliterate any such silliness and spiral you down into a depression. Seriously the Author is into S&M, I’m positive. Not saying I know anything about that!! One more thing, do not eat while listening to this book!
Here’s a little preview of the action ;

“The dead and the wounded trampled under foot as others struggled to reach the enemy. Screams of rage filled the air, the uneven ground was a crimson mess of blood and worse.” Then there’s the incest. No eating while listening folks!
