The Miraculous Story of a Hugely Successful New Age Teacher’s Conversion to Christianity

In this brilliant, utterly captivating memoir, Doreen Virtue chronicles her journey in discovering everything she believed in was a lie. She poignantly shares the price she’s paid for following Jesus.

New Age teachings are based on concepts that sound almost irresistible. But as Doreen discovered, they come with a hidden price: your eternal destiny. Here is a riveting, personal confessional of how a former false prophet learned to trust God after nearly wasting a lifetime being independent and willful--trying to predict and control the future--and how Jesus saved her soul from deception and opened her eyes to His truth.

Deceived No More can help you learn how to discern dangerous teachings so you can detect and avoid deception. Topics include:

  • How to spot New Age teachings, and why they’re dangerous
  • Biblical ways to deal with persecution, spiritual warfare, and other post-conversion issues
  • How to witness to a New Ager

As a former new ager and witch of 26 years I followed Doreen Virtue 'religiously' and had thousands of dollars of her material. I even was certified in some of her courses on Angel Card readings. To hear of her conversion at a time when I was going through my own was literally life changing. God can use ANYONE and He does!! Our history is what allows us to speak into other people's lives with experience and with the amount of new age interception into Christianity today, God knew exactly what He was doing in this woman's life. I praise God for Doreen all the time!

You cannot be a new ager and a Christian, it just doesn't work. You have to choose one. And as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord, amen!

I so related to this book. I've just found my way back to the Father and was an avid follower of Doreen's daily readings. My belief system was everything Doreen taught back in the day and I unfollowed her when she converted to Christianity. How ignorant of me. This book was what I needed-it included scripture and backed up everything she was saying to dispel all the new age babble I had been following for so long. I will listen to this book again and again.

Each and every one of us must walk our own way to god. Our creator... in darkness or the light. I’m not sure... everyone will get their through the bible though... unless they can see themselves in it.

This book is for the already Christian who needs an eye opener to the deception of new spirituality and to the curious who were perhaps brought here from Doreens other books. I am so comforted for Doreen to have the bravery to denounce her whole life and lifestyle to follow Jesus.

Eye opening and comforting
