Best book so far
Books 1-6: Zach had to grow up and be a leader of a small group, then a city and find a way to deal with it all in a mature way. Zach delegates a lot, so that allows the author to side step much of the politics and petty stuff and give us a few fun adventures each book.
Books 7 & 8: Zach decides to grow further by leaving the planet for others to rule and also discover how deep the water actually is in the universe. JF Brink does a great job of continuesly taking us along on the adventures, fun and failures, to see Zach grow as a person.
This was the most enjoyable book to listen to so far in the series and filled with so much detail, I had to listen to it twice to catch it all.
It's also nice to see the magic system used by this series is not held back by anything but the authors imagination.
Book 8 does feel very much like a Part 1 of 2, and I'm excited to see the next one comes out in just a few months.
These books need to be a movie series with a large budget.

Still going strong
What can i say? The concepts and wording are so complex at this point im amazed the author can keep track of it all. The world building is second to none, its hands down the best out of every Lit Rpg ive read and listened too. I even enjoy listening to the stat sheets if only to be reminded of what a badass Zach is.
If i had a complaint/wish it would be that id like to hear what some other characters were up too more often.
Narrator was phenomenal as usual.

His best book yet.
I am constantly amazed by this author's pacing! This book was engrossing to the last word and may be my favorite of the 8 published this far. Amazing!

as usual another great installment In the series. this one was full of combat ND advancement, and still did a great job making Zak struggle to succeed, without cheapened his character.
