About this listen
"Ninety-five days, and then I'll be safe. I wonder whether the procedure will hurt. I want to get it over with. It's hard to be patient. It's hard not to be afraid while I'm still uncured, though so far the deliria hasn't touched me yet. Still, I worry. They say that in the old days, love drove people to madness. The deadliest of all deadly things: It kills you both when you have it and when you don't."
Lauren Oliver astonished readers with her stunning debut, Before I Fall. In a starred review, Publishers Weekly called it "raw, emotional, and, at times, beautiful. An end as brave as it is heartbreaking." Her much-awaited second novel fulfills her promise as an exceptionally talented and versatile writer.
Also included is a sneak listen to the first chapter of the next book in the series. Enjoy!

A fun read
I would say this is a pretty good book for an overly descriptive, fluffy, teen romance. It’s a fun read. Not too over the top, but enough to make it entertaining.

I loved it!
I’ve been meaning to read this book for at least 10 years and being able to listen to it made it so much better! The story is really good. I don’t really like the fact that she’s underage but other than that their romance is pretty cute! The story also had enough plot twists to keep you hooked but not too many they stop being believable. The narrator is also really good!
Super excited to start the next book!

Engaging! Exciting!
I don’t know how I hadn’t heard about this book during my dystopian deep dive back in 2012, but I’m sure glad it brought me back to that good nostalgic genre!
Lauren Oliver paints with her words. Each scene is so beautifully descriptive without needless weight and depicts palpable emotion that is so relatable. I loved the choice of reader as their performance really drove home the impact of the words chosen! What a good story as well! I’m super excited to read the other books!
