A lifeline for caregivers like me
When my parent was diagnosed with dementia, I felt completely unprepared and overwhelmed. This book was exactly what I needed—a practical and compassionate guide that didn’t just focus on the person with dementia but also on me as the caregiver. What stood out the most was the emphasis on self-care. It reminded me that taking care of myself isn’t selfish; it’s necessary.
I also appreciated the suggestions for integrating technology and holistic approaches, which gave me more tools to make caregiving a little easier. If you’re a caregiver, this book will not only help you provide better care but also help you feel less alone in the journey. It’s practical, supportive, and a must-read for anyone in this role.
