About this listen

How did our long-lost ancestors affect our past? More importantly, how will they affect our future?

Mark and Julie are brilliant scientists and Major Reagan has kept them and others alive to this point, but the most dangerous confrontations will not be with the Noridians, it will be with the Lower Houses of The Accord.

Destiny is a thought-provoking journey that will cause you to inspect your basic values. From what it really means to be human to wondering if there's room in the universe for God, it's also a fun listen.

Christian sci fi If i ever seen it.

Only books that I have ever listened too that could fit this description. Overall it’s good . It uses Abrahamic texts to make a sci-fi story. It’s unique in that way and can be fun to follow along.

Truly a thought-provoking story

These books are an interesting dichotomy. They tend a bit more towards telling than showing, but the author's style coupled with Kafer's narration keeps it interesting.
I think the best chapter by far was 38. The intellectual in me loved the discussions about government and economy.

interesting idea ruined by right wing ignorance.

The overall ideas on the series are interesting and entertaining, but there are so many little problematic things that you have to overlook while reading the book. Which, like, it's bothersome but fine, I can ignore problematic political ideals in small amounts, but then there is a solid 30+ minute rant on economics and government that is just absurd. It is just the most uneducated, ignorant, idiotic and incorrect explanation of economics and role of government and the free market that I've ever heard in my life. I honestly can't get over how absolutely stupid and uneducated the author is, far right people are honestly baffling.

Religious propaganda

Loosely veiled religious, specifically catholic/christian, propaganda. They even use muslims in a villainous way. Doesn’t become completely evident until finishing the trilogy. Don’t buy unless that’s your kind of thing. I will be seeking refunds for my purchases from this author.

Also the voice actor is terrible at speaking in anything other than his own voice or a mildly offensive “italian” accent. Quite often it is difficult to remember which character is narrating if you’re resuming mid chapter.
