The characters are bland

The characters are all bland stereotypes. They barely change through out the whole series and often make non sensible decisions. The main character is a know it all encyclopedia who miraculously knows just about everything and knows how to get out of every situation. The main character has some serious plot armour and the villains often make stupid illogical choices that get them killed unrealistically. Overall the book is alright, decent enough to listen to but there are some pretty annoying characters that drag the story down.
