About this listen

Attending King University was at the top of my bucket list. Falling in love with my professor wasn't.

Earning a full scholarship to King University was my hard-earned ticket out of hell. I'm happy to be away from the small town I grew up in and all the equally small-minded people who live there.

King was going to be my safe haven. A place where I could leave the old me behind and finally grow into the young man my family had desperately tried to hide away.

Diving head first into new experiences, new friends, and parties, I didn't expect to run straight into the one thing I wasn't ready for.

His arms are welcoming, his body is addictive and his lips are heaven. Cole Huxley is everything I could fall in love with, except for one problem...I never wanted to fall for my professor.

Contains mature themes.

This narrator pairing didn’t work

With Cole’s POV both characters sounded deep and rich but when it switches to Elijah the characters sound like they’re kids. It took away from the storytelling.

The best! Copper North makes it the bestest!

Emotional, passionate, complex, sweet, heartwarming, genuine, realistic love story that I will re-read over and over again. It’s so well written with an amazing pace of development both in story and in characters.

Cooper North is such an amazing narrator, he gives emotions to each and every word!
I love Aiden Snow, but I feel he doesn’t express emotions in narration, he just reads calmly.

Liked it a lot ❤️

The narration was excellent! Cooper has definitely improved since a year ago. My Aiden did his usual best, I love his voice swooning am I of course. The plot was good and kind off a copy of a copy in this trope. Nothing new, but very well written. Loved the hot sex scenes and the should I should I nots were few and far between, which I appreciate. I hate longwinded internal dialogues. That’s what I loved about this story the lovers wanted each other and went for it!!!

Narration is fine, the story is an issue

This author has done some age gap and professor/college student stories before, and they’re not bad. However, this book starts with some problematic circumstances—a 32 yo professor who runs a special research group for undergrads and a sheltered 18 yo freshman student whom he invites to join. This could easily be construed as predatory behavior, and so, for me, fails on premise. The character work cannot justify the characters’ actions. Big ick.
The narration is fine, copper north’s acting is great, and aiden snow has an amazing deep voice.
