À propos de cet audio
From New York Times bestsellers Preston and Child, archaeologist Nora Kelly and FBI Agent Corrie Swanson are tasked with the mysterious deaths of two people found at a site where a UFO allegedly crashed decades before.
Lucas Tappan, a wealthy and eccentric billionaire and founder of Icarus Space Systems, approaches the Santa Fe Archaeological Institute with an outlandish proposal—to finance a careful, scientific excavation of the Roswell Incident site, where a UFO is alleged to have crashed in 1947. A skeptical Nora Kelly, to her great annoyance, is tasked with the job.
Nora's excavation immediately uncovers two murder victims buried at the site, faces and hands obliterated with acid to erase their identities. Special Agent Corrie Swanson is assigned to the case. As Nora’s excavation proceeds, uncovering things both bizarre and seemingly inexplicable, Corrie’s homicide investigation throws open a Pandora's box of espionage and violence, uncovering bloody traces of a powerful force that will stop at nothing to protect its secrets—and that threatens to engulf them all in an unimaginable fate.

Great story with wonderful characters. The narration was a bit choppy with the voices but would still recommend

Great book
Great story as usual from Preston and Child. The book performer is not great. Her delivery is very wooden and voices all the male characters so that they sound like dummies. Spoils a good story.

Diablo Mesa
Another good story from Preston and Child. Anyone the like mystery and sci-fi ,will enjoy this book. I thought the reader was good, but with this story, I would have chosen a male reader. Good job all!

oh dear
narrator was not well suited to this book - her inability to modulate her voice was exceptional pronounced when reading the male dialogue - had one tone - breathy and really straining to sound authentic - sounded better when not trying to animate the character’s’ personality
book was not that interesting, anticipatory ( most are ) with too much minutiae added that didn’t add anything towards moving the plot along

Departure from reality.
I've been a fan of Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child for many years and the Nora Kelly series started to grow on me. It was previously based in reality, but this departure into scientific fantasy leaves me feeling a little let down. It's a good enough story, but the departure into fantasy lends me to believe it would be better suited for another series.
Not bad, but if you're expecting something close to reality, keep looking.
