About this listen
A boy prophet who can raise the dead. Followers who would kill for his favor. And a sibling on the run for more than her life . . .
It was a moment to spawn a thousand nightmares. But fourteen-year-old Diane Cockerton still can't remember that day in the Little Woods. Her father prevented 'something unimaginable' from happening to her is all she's ever been told. Two years later, Diane is finally ready to rejoin the world.
Her mother has been blessed with another child, a 'miracle baby' called Simon. But there's something unnatural about Diane's new brother. Strange things have begun to happen. Disturbing things that can't be explained.
Things that only happen around Simon Peter . . .
Hailed as a 'horror story for true horror fans,' Disciple is a nightmare-inducing tale of modern day evil masquerading as salvation. If you long for satisfaction from a horror story; if supernatural thrillers, religious horror, demonic prophecy, and twisted endings you won't see coming are what you yearn for; then you'll love A. G. Mock's award-winning trilogy!
Can Diane expose her brother's dark truth before it's too late . . . ?
Contains mature themes.

Just a mis
Considering how terrifying Mock's Little Woods was, this book is an enormous letdown and a complete waste of a good audible credit that would have been better spent on a Harlequin Romance or a even a Playboy Forum.
First - the story had good bones. There was a lot left to tell after Little Woods and the perspective of DD was solid. However, the story was lost in flowering, melodramatic adjectivs. Ie. The wind was biting into her like sharpened silver needles. It was sharply unedited and very irritating. Like reading a fairly talented high school senior pad a short story to extend it to 8000 words
Second. The reader. I don't want to be mean because a real person got up and did this, and likely did a better job with reading it than I ever could, however when she was dreading the voice of Ian, she was using the voice that every single woman on earth uses when she's imitating the voice of her ex when she's describing something stupid he said. And the 10 minute monologue of Ian’s whist in the park with DD was bone-jarringly annoying, I had to turn off audible and switch to a country station to not slam my car into a post out of frustration and annoyance.
To the writer, AG Mock. You have some good stories in you, you need a better editor.
To the potential purchaser of this book. Maybe leave it in the Little Woods and use your imagination.
