About this listen
Your ex-spouse is bad-mouthing you to your children, perhaps even trying to turn them against you. If you handle the situation ineffectively, your relationship with your children could suffer. You could lose their respect, lose their affection, and even, in extreme cases, lose all contact with them.
This groundbreaking work gives parents powerful strategies to preserve and rebuild loving relationships with their children and provides legal and mental health professionals with practical advice to help their clients and ensure the welfare of children.
Divorce Poison offers advice on how to:
- Recognize early warning signs of trouble
- React if your children refuse to see you
- Respond to rude and hateful behavior
- Avoid the seven common errors made by rejected parents

Story
Many people are in the midst of a high conflict court and custody battle with a narcissist. They begin to experience the narcissist’s gas-lighting and wrath in many ways. Not only do they experience this, however. They find that their child is the victim of gaslighting and brainwashing also. The non-narcissist doesn’t realize that the other parent brainwashes the child and triangulates the child against them. Eventually, the child begins to detest and hate the non-narcissistic parent. The non-narcissistic parent never knows what they did wrong to deserve their own child hating them.

Story
Half of all marriages end. Unfortunately, about 20% of divorces are high-conflict, involving frequent visits to court, allegations of abuse, and chronic disagreements regarding parenting schedules. In response to this conflict, some children become aligned with one parent against the other - even a parent who has done nothing to warrant the hostile rejection of their formerly loving children. These parents are on a painful journey with an uncertain outcome. Surviving Parental Alienation fills the tremendous need for concrete help for these parents.

very informative for the Divorce process
This book is somewhat dark, it shows a lot of examples of potential scenarios for divorce parents. At times I could not listen it since it is the truth, however learning from others experience and stories make yourself to be prepared for the worst. If it does not happen then you will be easy going, however if your ex behaves in any manner close to the described process you would know how to react.
Only reason why I do not give the 5 stars is because my feelings were shaken constantly but that is the real intent on the book.

This book provides exceptional advise for people in horrible situations. I dont know if I can put much of it to use but I am grateful someone is trying to help people like my dad and I. If you are reading this book chances are you're toiling through hell, all I can say is best of luck and may this book help you.

Look into the Author
Look more into the author of this book of you are planning on reading it. His opinions have had a major hand in creating a system that supports and, in many cases, sanctions child and post separation abuse in and through the court system. I would give it negative stars if I could.
