About this listen

When my best friend’s little sister walks in on me moaning her name, it’s all over. All restraints are shattered, and every boundary demolished. Nothing will be the same…

For years, I’ve tried to keep my distance from Dakota Cooper. She’s everything I’ve ever wanted and the one thing I can’t have.

But when she calls me in the middle of the night after someone tries to break into her house, I can no longer handle that distance, and I convince her to stay with me, along with her young son.

I should have known having her living under my roof would push me to the edge. Ignite the need that has simmered for so long.

The problem is, she’s forbidden. Off-limits. And I know better than crossing that line.
I can’t drag her into the dark secrets of my life.

But I can’t stay away from her either, so I do the one thing I shouldn’t—I take.
And now that I’ve had her, I’m not sure I can save her from who I am...

Perfection

I don’t even know where to start with this review! I was so looking forward to Dakota and Ryder’s story after getting hints of them in the previous book and I was not disappointed. This book was absolute perfection! The bond and connection between Dakota and Ryder was all I could have asked for. Their love felt so pure, even through the dark times brought about by Ryder’s choices. He did everything he could to shield her from that life, putting her happiness above his. But the problem with a bond like theirs is that it can only be denied for so long. Amy’s world building is second to none, and the way she weaves these beautiful love stories with all the suspenseful elements is the reason why she is one of my favorite authors.
Connor Crais and Samantha Brentmoor were the perfect narrators for Ryder and Dakota. They both bring such emotion to their performances, and it really enriches the listening experience. I know this is a book I will go back to sooner rather than later!

It's always been you

I was obsessed with Love Me Today...and had high hopes for Don't Forget Me Tomorrow, and AL delivered!!!!!

Dakota and Ryder were always meant to be...but Ryder has demons, and he will do anything to keep those demons from infiltrating the pure, goodness that is Dakota. Even if that means breaking her heart with every rejection.

Dakota knows it's time...time to move on from the only man she's ever loved...he doesn't feel the same way or so she thinks. When she goes on the first date in years, she finally forces Ryder's hand without even realizing it.

Ryder can't take it anymore, he's tried for so long to stay away and do the right thing, he loves Dakota and he will do whatever it takes for them to be together. It means showing her his darkest secrets.

I read the ebook as well as listened to the audio!! Samantha Brentmoor and Connor Crais took this amazing story by A.L. Jackson and elevated it (which I wasn't sure was possible). The narration is performed in dual, you are blessed with the many many voices of Samantha and Connor. I will fight anyone who tells me they don't swoon at Samantha's man voice..."Cookie" I'm deceased. And the absolute joy and innocence Connor portrays with his kid voices...absolutely perfect...and I mean the growls, iykyk.

Still loving Time River!

I swear A.L Jackson always has me hooked with this series. I’d already been excited for this book to happen from book one and it certainly didn’t disappoint.
This book ♥️ I’m not always a fan of friends to lovers story lines but this was so well done. I love a brother’s best friend trope and this one certainly delivered. This book had the perfect amount of past scenes to build up their connection and present with some dark secrets and suspenseful turns to keep things interesting.
Ryder and Dakota had so much chemistry that you couldn’t help but want to see them finally figure out they were meant for each other. And are in the way this tall dark and handsome man interacts and treats her 2 year old son and you will swoon 😍
