About this listen
Being an entrepreneur is hard, but being an entrepreneur on social media is even harder.
Have you ever actually engaged with someone’s lame dance video on Instagram? Probably not, if you’re being honest. Gimmicks just don’t work, but the pressure of having an online presence can make people do weird things.
Eventually, you have to call bullsh*t. The good news is that when you cut out excuses and ditch the self-sabotaging performances, you can learn to be a real human on the internet.
In Don’t Make it Weird, Colleen teaches you how to bring your whole personality—the messy, awkward, and mundane—to your online presence to create true connection and community. And, of course, to sell to people without making it weird.
Whatever it is you want to do, you can. Just Don’t Make it Weird.

How do master storytellers compel us? There have been many attempts to understand what makes a good story, but few have used a scientific approach. Story
The human body was honed under unique conditions that no longer exist. The modern world has changed dramatically since our days as hunter gatherers, and it has caused widespread anxiety, stress, and disease, leaving our brains in disrepair. But science proves that the body and brain can be healed with the intervention of lifestyle protocols that help us to regain our cognitive birthright. In the Genius Life, Lugavere expands the Genius Foods plan, which focused on nutrition and how it affects brain health, and expands it to encompass a full lifestyle protocol.

So Good I Want the Hardcopy too!
Colleen’s voice is like the perfect cup of tea, you feel like you’re sitting on the couch with her having a conversation about her book. There is so much goodness in this book I want to get the hardcopy to take notes and make sure I’ve really captured everything. I listened to her book while on a 5 hour drive home and it made it so much more enjoyable and kept my brain alert the whole time. Every network marketer can benefit from this read!

Sooo much goodness and the narrator keeps you engaged the WHOLE time!!
There is so much goodness in this book, I will be getting a hardcopy to take notes, to make I have captured everything. Love how this book has great tips, but the author keeps you engaged by writing as though she is your best friend having a conversation with you. It is not boring to listen to or to read by yourself. You feel as though the author is right there with you, keeping you engaged with key facts and humor. Every network marketer can benefit from this read!

Not your average business book
I struggle with most business or self help type books because they never hold my attention. This book is the exception! Colleen’s sense of humour is incredible and the way she weaves in practical tips with personal stories had me captivated the entire time.

A Guide to Authenticity Online
In the digital age, where the line between the virtual and the real often blurs, Colleen’s “Don’t Make It Weird” emerges as a refreshing, insightful guide on how to maintain our humanity on the internet. Having listened to the book twice already, its impact is undeniable – it’s not just a book, but a journey that I plan to revisit again.
Colleen masterfully navigates the complexities of online interactions with a blend of humor, sincerity, and relatability. Her approach to being human in a world dominated by pixels and screens is not just theoretical; it’s filled with practical, tangible actions that anyone can incorporate into their digital lives. This aspect of the book is particularly striking, as it moves beyond mere observations about the internet culture and offers actionable advice.
What sets this book apart is Colleen’s unique style. She keeps it light yet impactful, fun yet profound, and in true Colleen fashion, always real. Her engaging narrative style makes complex concepts accessible and enjoyable, turning what could have been a mundane topic into an engaging discourse.
For anyone who’s navigating the digital realm, especially those promoting themselves online, “Don’t Make It Weird” is an indispensable resource. It’s a guide that doesn’t just talk about being authentic online – it shows you how, in the most human way possible. This book is not just a read; it’s an experience, a companion in the journey of understanding and embracing our digital humanity.

Not only is Colleen real AF, she will make you feel like you really can finally do this!!
This book made me laugh, say WTF, and rewind several parts to listen again!
It’s all in there: how to get over yourself, how to be yourself on the Internet, and tangible action steps to help you make progress. And the crazy thing is, none of it feels too hard or too out of reach for a normal regular person. I’m excited to put these things in to practice and see what happens!
Can’t say I won’t make it a little weird but I think Colleen is giving us all permission to let our freak flag fly! 👌
