Great yarn

Typical Mark Herron novel. Great plot mixed with sardonic humour. My favourite mystery/thriller writer.

Narration off the mark for me

I enjoyed the story mostly, in spite of the narrator’s posh clipped accent and overdone tone, not at all appropriate for Herron’s iconic deadpan humour.

mouth noises

great story well read but the sound engineer didn't take out the mouth noises. Did a great job reading it was so annoying to hear dry mouth smack
