Wonderful cultivation story
i felt like I was part of the story and I can’t wait for book 2. So many questions left unanswered, and yet I’m still left feeling like I just survived an epic adventure.

Excellent
Best litRPG I’ve read in awhile. It seemed to have more depth and was less formulaic. Certainly worth listening to.

More palatable wuxia
Wuxia stories usually suffer from having cruel and bitter MCs, but Hadjar is a real G.
The narrator sounds a little moist, and whisper shouting can kinda kill the vibe, but he does alright

honestly great storyline but..
The storyline and character progression are great and interesting. The concept is different from a lot of similar style of books that I've read before.
The only thing I didn't like is The oversexualization of women in the story, especially when it comes to teenagers. like I get it you want to add some sex into the book but describing teenager's bodies in a really gross way almost made me want to stop listening. I will keep listening to the books that are free but if that kind of wording continues, I won't pay for the rest of the series...

lynch the bloody narrator!
honestly it really annoys me that u can hear the narrator swallow/lick his lips in a really wet nasty fashion between paragraphs that being said he hardly acknowledged any comas or paused for periods. it really drives me up the wall. the story has a few flaws that can be looked past but coupled with this horrible narrator its hardly worth the time. I'm really annoyed right now.
