About this listen
The much-anticipated sequel to Zero G and the middle grade debut by Dan Wells.
The colonists from the Pathfinder have arrived on Kaguya, a planet with low gravity but a very dense atmosphere. It’s fun to jump around, but the air makes you loopy. Even worse than that, the heavy atmosphere means that wind storms, although rare, are absolutely devastating.
Zero and Nyx help to get everything locked down before the first big storm, but they stumble onto a group of thieves who have stolen some mining equipment. Before the kids have a chance to get away and tell anyone, the storm hits and the massive winds carry them far away. Zero and Nyx are stranded on an unknown planet with no way to communicate, being chased by thieves, and with another storm bearing down on them.
And, oh yeah, this planet has dragons.
It will take more than just good luck to get back to the colony. It’s going to take science.

Entertainment for the whole family
Light-hearted and filled with adventure! I was charmed by the authors use of science to make the world beautifully mesmerizing while at the same time almost feel as if this planet were real, definitely a book I will be recommending to younger readers!

Great short story for kids
I enjoyed the first book very much, even as an adult, but this book is definitely for children. It’s a very nice book, well written, fast paced and imaginative, so I am giving it 5 stars.
If you are an adult you might want to give this one a miss, but check out book 1 if you didn’t already.

Just as good as the first One! Nix rocks!
Great story, great soundtrack. For adults too. Amazing professional production. This is not an audiobook; it's like a movie in my mind. The character Nix rocks. Amazing voice acting; everytime she got excited, I felt it too and felt like pumping my fist in the air and jumping for joy. Can't wait to listen to number 3 now.

8yo review
Review from an 8 yo…The characters were good, I like what they do in the story. Everything was good, like a movie in my head.

Very well done
Just as charming and well written as the first one! It included one of my favourite VAs soneela nankani (who is currently narrating another audiobook I’m reading and love!) and Debby was sooo incredibly funny and well done. I don’t understand why this hasn’t been turned into an animated series yet?! Now I do have to admit I do still like book 1 best, but as far as sequels go this was stunning. I love how it carried on seamlessly from book 1 and kept its personality. The world building was so rich and I’m not afraid to admit I learned a few things along the way! Excited for book 3.

Cute story
This book is perfect for a person under 14.
It was free so I’d try it out.
Not for an adult. Definitely for children.
