About this listen
Liz Parker doesn't like surprises, but winning the lottery isn't something she would complain about. Before she has time to think about how to spend her new fortune, she's hit with an even bigger shock than unexpected wealth. She has three months to live unless she finds a one-in-a-million bone-marrow donor.
While her medical team scrambles to locate her miracle, Liz throws together a bucket list, charters a private jet, and takes off to see the world. The journey of a lifetime holds even more surprises, including the hunky pilot she's falling for at the most inconvenient time.
Will Liz die before she can realize her happily-ever-after, or will the universe come through for her one more time? Find out in this humorous tale of true love and adventure!

Narrator
Stephanie Moore isn’t the greatest narrator for when she is not reading dialogue, she is always talking with vocal fry and it seems like she is either uninterested or trying to be sexy for just something mundane like grabbing a chair.
Rich Amooi seems to have one word he loves per book this one is HARD - he kissed her hard, she swallowed hard, it’s used way too often.

Cute
What I liked: Cute love story, main characters over the age of 40, happy ending, no drama with ex spouses.
What I didn't like: Predictable, a bit too "insta-love" for my tastes.
Spoilers:
As soon as she got her diagnoses and it was "a rare version of the disease we've never seen before" I knew that the MMC was going to magically be a perfect bone marrow match for her and they'd live happily ever after. This book was cute but the emotional pay off would have been so much better if there was more build up to their feelings and they earned it. It felt like it was basically handed to them, which is fine I guess but even the conflict in the hotel room when she finds out he knows was so anticlimactic.
I do enjoy Teddy Hamilton as a narrator though!
