Publisher's Summary

These men killed mine, and for that, they have to die

Bristlebrook is up in smoke, my brutes are dead, and Sam’s camp is a powder keg begging for a flame.

Injured and furious over their losses, the surviving hunters are preoccupied with their own problems. Their factions and allegiances. Their internal wars and pissing contests. The new world they want to forge. They don’t look twice at their meek little captive.

They shattered my heart five ways when they killed my brutes, so I don’t care anymore. If I’m to stop the villains, I need to become one.

I need to be smart. I need to be ruthless.

Even if it means razing myself to the ground to do it . . .

We’re bringing her home, or we’re not coming home

They took our librarian from right under our noses—and with Lucky injured, Bristlebrook in flames, and our personal problems finally spilling over, we’re fracturing.

But we need to be better.

Bringing Eden home is the most important mission of our lives.

Followed closely by the second most important . . . building her a home worth returning to.

***
The Brutes of Bristlebrook is a dark(ish) post-apocalyptic, steamy romance series, and Eden will end up with three or more love interests after I’ve appropriately obliterated my listeners’ nerves. Expect complex characters, 1st person present tense, multiple POVs, MM in the harem, angst, lots of laughs, and to encounter material that some listeners may find sensitive.

This book is a big boy at over 180k words and deals with a lot of heavy content. I promise it gets brighter as it goes on (you know... mostly). Please see my website for TWs - your mental health matters.

just omg

the voices so perfect, the story top tier! the spicy is 5 star 🌟 I spent this entire book crying, laughing, giggling and finding myself utterly lost in the story! Rebecca has a way with words and complex characters. These brutes live rent free in my head. and the voice actors in this story add to the experience of this book. I whole heartily recommend this book

It's hard watching someone else live out your dreams.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️

Um. HOLY SH!T. I'm dying to know how this story ends.

This book was better than the first. Weird way to propose, Ms. Quinn, but okay.

First of all. The bond-fire. THE BOND-FIRE. If i could be any fictional character for 24 hours, I'd be Edin at the bond-fire. 🥵🥵🥵 IYKYK.

Second. How DARE you make me feel those Jake kisses deep in my belly. So. RUDE. 😭

And lastly? Well done. 🤟🖤 I think writing kink, especially with so many facets of BDSM can be challenging, and I felt this book was done thoughtfully. Was the Jake scene uncomfortable to a degree? Yeah. But you pointedly showed the importance of consent. Edin is flawed, as all the characters are flawed. It was a moment of learning, and growth which I could appreciate.

Can we get to story 3 now pretty please?!

Even better than book 1

Wow, this was so much better than the first book. I'm glad we finally got a little insight into this world. The audiobook for this this was amazing. The number of voice actors and the authentic sound they bring to each character is astonishing to me. I can't wait for the third installment. That ending has me reeling.

Not exactly what I thought it was going to be

These two books were not what I thought they were going to be. There was good and there was bad.

First of all the good parts:
The narration. It was wonderful having all the different narrators doing their part. I would’ve liked to have more female narrators instead of the one female narrator, but she did a bang up job.
The storyline was quite intriguing. I quite enjoyed the suspense and the action in this book. And I’m not referring to the BDSM/gay/lifestyle part of it. Scenarios on how they have to survive an apocalypse was quite interesting.
The author really did a very good job at creating and developing these characters.

Second of all the bad parts:
I’m not sure I would actually call them the bad parts. It’s just some of the parts that I could’ve done without such as, and I know this was a book on BDSM and what not, but I enjoyed when they work together to survive more than I enjoyed all the sexy scenes. Yes I know we needed some sexy scenes and some we absolutely did need it.
And believe it or not the only character I did not like in this whole series, book 1 and book 2, what’s the main character Eden. She drove me crazy. What makes you think that this mousy flip floppy little librarian was God’s gift to man, and thought she was entitled to own these men whether they wanted her or not. I couldn’t figure out why these five man fights so badly over this mousy woman. I know these men were without a female for many years, but still. Eden was so conceited that if I was actually friends with her I’d have to push her off a cliff.

But overall this was a really good to book series. But a cliffhanger, the way it ended we could have a book 3.

Amazing Experience

I read Entangled first, I absolutely loved it, but a friend convinced me that I needed to listen to the audiobook. Normally I only do audiobooks when going for long drives but I decided to give this a chance based on how much I'd liked reading it. I was floored by how much I enjoyed listening to this book, the full cast makes it a truly immersive experience. I can't recommend it enough.

A Gripping Sequel That Transcends Expectations

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Heat Level: 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Entangled by Rebecca Quinn takes readers on a tumultuous journey that is both exhilarating and emotionally profound. As the second installment in the Brutes of Bristlebrook series, this book not only lives up to its predecessor but surpasses it in intensity and depth.

From the very first page, I was ensnared by the mesmerizing storytelling, and the audiobook, with its duet narration, only amplified the experience, captivating me completely. Rebecca Quinn has truly outdone herself in crafting one of the best narrations I've ever encountered.

This sequel delves into darker territories, delving deeper into complex themes while maintaining the series' signature blend of thrills and sensuality. The emotional spectrum explored within the pages is staggering, from distress and anxiety to resilience and humor. Quinn's writing skillfully evokes a rollercoaster of emotions, leaving readers breathless and utterly invested in the characters' fates.

"Entangled" seamlessly picks up where "Ensnared" left off, propelling the narrative to new heights. The plot twists and turns kept me on the edge of my seat, while the character development added layers of depth to an already richly woven tale. Despite its dark subject matter, the story is an addictive blend of heartbreak and hope, leaving a lasting impression.

Before diving into this book, readers should heed the trigger warning, as it tackles sensitive themes with unflinching honesty. However, despite the heaviness of the content, "Entangled" ultimately offers a beacon of light amidst the darkness.

In conclusion, "Entangled" is a masterpiece of post-apocalyptic romance, offering a thrilling ride that will leave readers eagerly anticipating the next installment. Rebecca Quinn has solidified her place as a master storyteller, and I, for one, cannot wait to see where the journey takes us next.

Dream Cast

The saga continues with book 2 and I just love it! Still so thankful to Blue Nose Audio for deciding on stellar narrator multi casting for this project and for collaborating with Rebecca Quinn. Great story! You’ll laugh, you’ll be frustrated and you’ll keep wondering what happens next. Be warned however that the Bond Fire night could very possibly set you ablaze and melt you into a puddle… whew! 🥵🥵🌶️🌶️🔥🔥

Oh Damn

I need book 3 now.... That cliffhanger will haunt me. This is the first time I've finished a romance book and immediately got excited to reread it! The spice is off the charts, I fell in love with all the characters, and I'm invested in the story!

Also, all the narrators are just spectacular in their performances. They've set the bar high with this book *swoons* Not just because all their voices were made for spice but because their acting skills are impeccable.

Overall, I was on a rollercoaster of emotions through every chapter. My favorite part was even though the spice was intense, it was always consensual and they took care of each other.
