Monotonous reading. Interesting story

The narrator did not speak in realistic accents,
and felt a bit monotonous. But the story was mildly interesting.

Not about sailing

This is a story more about travelling, less about sailing. A “what not to do” book, left me rolling my eyes at this couple as they make poor decision after poor decision. It wasn’t what I was expecting from a book about sailing.

Amazing story telling and voice acting

I loved hearing about all your mishaps and adventures, it was a pleasure to listen to and it only fuels my own dream of live aboard sailing some day!

Excellent insight

The story, narration and pace was to my liking. Julie, the author, conveyed the experiences that she and her husband endured very well.

I’m returning to sailing and after listening to this book, I’m energized to complete my boat build by next year’s sailing season.

hardly about sailing

this is more of a travel memoir than a book about sailing. try John Kretschmer for a true sailing author.
