Alton does a great job in this book explaining fundamental no limit hold'em concepts and mathematics necessary to create a solid foundation of skills. I felt like some of the sections were slightly convoluted and over explained however this could very well just be personal preferences. For what this book aims to do it is a great start and it came with an online course parallel to the book which helps to reinforce the information. I recommend it!

The material is fantastic. Read a few poker math books and I like the way the topics are organized / presented in this one. The narrator is also fantastic. Really holds your attention. This is just as important as the material. Especially when the material is math!
