Getting more serious
As with the previous books, the problem-solving and action are ever-present. The adult situations and emotions are getting more and more intertwinde and interesting. The world and characters are well developed and building in abilities and strength and just when you think the story is about the come to an end you're set up wanting even more with the surprise ending. eagerly awaiting the next chapter in this epic.

Runs deep.

Change of narrator
While not in terms of performance, I preferred the previous narrator, he had a wider range of vocals.

Bring back the original voice actor
Went from having one the best voice actor I've heard in the hundreds of audiobooks I've listened to, to a below average voice actor. It often is very difficult to distinguish who is speaking from the voices he makes and there were several parts in the books where he simply was using the wrong voice for the wrong person.
As much as I LOVED this series, I'm not going to keep listening to it unless they being back the orignal actor. He made this whole experience wayyyyyyyy better.
