Good idea for a book...needed more editing

I listened to all 3 books on audiobook and there were quite a few words that the narrator obviously didn't know. There were either problems with saying the word or the feeling of the word wasn't right...so that did affect the book experience.

As for the story it was a great idea, with enjoyable characters. That being said the sex scenes we're terrible, impractical, sometimes impossible, and a bit like someone who has never had or seen sex wrote the scenes. Plus the same things were just repeated again and again in the 2nd and 3rd books. Kind of bland sexually, like I'd give it 1/2 a chili on the spicy scale...and only because it's a why choose/RH. There were some good writing moments and some good humour. The main character was well written and I would have loved her if it weren't for the terrible accent the narrator slipped in and out of, so I tried to ignore that, because she was strong and witty and there was so good writing of her character.

I enjoyed the play on Camelot and that story, as well as the references to other stories from the human world, including biblical stories.

Anyway if you're bored and looking for a read I'd say go for it...the series is ok. But keep in mind it needed a better editor and narrator. The idea of the story is fun and there are great humorous moments in the writing. So it did have some potential. Just wish it had a bit more work.
