To be honest I had it in my mind that there was no way that this book would live up to the original - I mean Charles Dickens? From the first minute however my mind was changed. The narrator is absolutely wonderful and carries the narrative so effectively that I hate to get out of my car or finish my run and unplug from listening. I surely hope this author has more in them as I will look for more in the future. One of the top 10 of the 285 titles I have listened to in Audible.
