Awakening the Anima: A Journey into the Feminine Depths of Consciousness
Falling Up by Gabi Kovalenko is a masterful exploration of consciousness that reaches into the very depths of our collective psyche, resonating particularly with Carl Jung’s concept of the Anima. Kovalenko’s words act as an invitation to all of us—especially modern men—to reconnect with the feminine qualities within, embracing a part of ourselves often overshadowed in a world driven by logic and structure.
The Anima, as Jung describes, represents the feminine aspect within the male psyche, embodying intuition, empathy, creativity, and the fluidity of the emotional experience. Kovalenko’s work serves as a guide, helping readers understand, accept, and integrate this crucial part of themselves. Her insights align deeply with the idea that, to be whole, we must nurture both masculine and feminine energies within us. For men, this means recognizing the Anima as a vital aspect of consciousness, rather than something foreign or disconnected. Falling Up provides not only the language but also the emotional resonance needed to understand the Anima’s place in our psyche—a perspective of nurturing, intuition, and self-compassion.
Kovalenko’s approach invites readers into the fluidity of experience and the beauty of vulnerability, showing us that the feminine aspect, when embraced, becomes a source of profound strength and inner guidance. In this light, Falling Up is more than a book; it’s an invitation to realignment. Through Kovalenko’s words, men especially can find a pathway to reconnect with the Anima, leading to a deeper, more harmonious understanding of themselves.
For anyone on a journey toward self-knowledge or those seeking to heal the often-neglected feminine within, Falling Up is essential. Kovalenko’s wisdom is a powerful reminder that the Anima is not only part of us but is essential to becoming whole.

A creativity guidebook
This book is a grand trine of Piscean wisdom, an Aquarian writing style, and a warm, friendly voice. Over the past few months, I’ve gathered several inspirational books for writers, ranging from Steven Pressfield to Natalie Goldberg. This one, a birthday gift to myself, stands out with its unique, spiritual, and holistic approach to creativity.

The Beauty of Source Energy "Falling Up*
This book is for the serious seeker, well off on the way to freedom. Its practical philosophy leads us on the straight and narrow path out of the woods of our own creations.
"Falling Up" challenged me to read with total focus and open-mindedness and to shift my perspective to the level of my soul. I love it.
The words, the ideas and the concepts pour harmoniously from the heart of the author with clarity, harmony and beauty.
I totally resonated with the material and applied some of the ideas to improve my life by simplifying it.
I listened to the "Falling Up" on Audible app and the author's velvet voice is a real pleasure to listen to as she narrates the book.
Way to go Gabi, I am looking forward to your next book!
