Yuck

Super predictable. The hero has serious problems with listening to what the heroine is telling him she's comfortable/ uncomfortable with.
When a woman tells you she's not comfortable with doing something, that doesn't mean you coerce her into saying yes to that act a little while later.
If I was Charlie, I would have said bye bye to Elijah a long time before the end of this novel.
