The economy has taken a turn for the worse, and Hank is working as a part-time gravedigger (and more than part-time graverobber). Despite being an expert shoveler, it’s not his top career choice, and he’s anxious to take any "legitimate" criminal work that comes along.
In that vein, he finds himself hired by a mysterious woman who wants him to recover an even more mysterious trunk that was stolen from her mansion. He’s also tasked by the new Adjunct Overwatch to find out who has been tampering with the Upper City. Hank struggles against competitive rivals, government red tape, serial killers, and his ever-present grumbling stomach.
All of this takes place with the backdrop of the Thad Elon Festival. It was put on as a means to drum up tourism revenue for the city. But there’s a concern that the destructive demigod in question might show up in person to take part in the celebration.

Tellement de bug dans la lecture de l'histoire
Il y a tellement de bug dans la lecture de l'histoire, c'est comme si personne n'avais passé en revu la performance avant la publication. Il y a beaucoup de discours qui se répète, des fois où le narateur change le ton de sa voix ou il c'est trompé de personnage. C'est un irritant incroyable, la première fois en 11 livres.

another good story, this time with terrible editing
fans of the series should definitely give this book a shot. It's got the same crazy, silly shenanigans with a wild story. I did enjoy it.
but the editing was terrible, they repeat the same lines over and over, it probably happened close to 100 times. the editing quality is just unacceptable. there was one time where he said a line, paused, coughed and then said the same line again. This was early in the book and at the time I thought that it was part of the performance. Except it kept happening over and over and over just without the cough in between each take. bad editing, please fix it. I love these books. bad editing takes you right out of the story.

Hanks always great
I have never been disappointed by any Hank book. Hilarious Fun action adventure. The Book is great can’t wait for the sequel
