Inspirational Readers Choice Award winner Cathy Marie Hake, CBA best-selling author of Bittersweet , blends wholesome humor and timeless truth into historical novels that ring with authenticity. When 17-year-old Lady Sydney Hathwell arrives in 1890 New York City, she never imagines she'll soon be galloping about the Wild West, unchaperoned - and dressed as a man. Honoring her father's dying wish, Sydney journeys from England to consider marrying Manhattan businessman Rexall Hume. After finding him unsuitable, she reveals her verdict. But with Hume insisting on marrying her anyhow, she seeks refuge with her estranged uncle. Disguising herself as an Englishman, Sydney flees the city on a westbound train. But when it's clear her uncle has no use for a female on his Texas ranch, "nephew Fancy Pants" continues the ruse. As unexpected developments unfold, Sydney fears her deception may jeopardize friendship, family, and much more.©2007 Cathy Marie Hake (P)2008 Recorded Books,LLC Fiction Genre Fiction Historical Fiction Romance New York Witty

Story was good but I found the narrators voice too old. The mens voices made it sound like they were over 70yrs. So although I liked the story the Male lead character didn't sound very attractive.
