Look out for the dinosaur with the telescope!

Even though there are no humans involved in this story, I developed a great fondness for some of the characters, and a great loathing for others.

Robert J. Sawyer has described a vast tapestry of society in this book, in environment, culture, physiology, and philosophy.

I could not wait for the remaining books in the series, so downloaded them all.
