Publisher's Summary

A dangerous and cruel dragon-shifter is holding my sister hostage.

And I am going to kill him. With my bare hands, if I have to.

He wants to trade - Irena’s life, for mine. For my freedom. For the ancient and deadly dragon magic I fused with when his cronies kicked me into a pit to die.

I came back from the dead, and I brought the fury of hell with me. Now, they’re running scared - as they should. All of them, except this guy.

As the cherry on this toxic pie, my mentor is hunting me, too. She’s using every skill she ever taught me to track me down and lock me away.

My mentor trained me to obey her, and she’s pissed that I won’t bow down to her anymore. Determined to drain my magic, Zurie wants to reprogram my brain with enough drugs to make me an obedient little assassin again.

It won’t happen. And the poor fool who hurts my sister - well, he’s in for an early grave.

Buckle in for heart-pounding action, breathtaking magic, deadly assassins, four drop-dead gorgeous leading men, lots of toned muscles, and most importantly - a young woman’s journey of justice, self-discovery, and freedom.

Includes a special note from the author.

Book 2 was even better

Just to let you know I’ve listened to all eight books before I wrote any reviews.

These were the first books I’ve ever listened to written by Olivia Ash. Olivia has an excellent imagination when it comes to dragons and fantasy. You won’t be disappointed in any of these eight books in this series. Olivia started with basic characters and throughout all eight books she has developed them into amazing characters.

I’m not normally a fan of listening to a book with only one narrator. So often the narrator can only do a couple of different voices. Erin Bennett manage to play all of the characters in all eight books extremely well.

I don’t want to tell you anything about this book as you need to hear it first hand. What I will say is give this series a good try. If you’re into dragons and magic and heroism this is a series for you.

This series just got better and better each book I started to listen to. Like I said the characters became more in-depth the deeper you got into the series.

In conclusion: Book one all the way to book 8 was amazing. So if you are testing this first book out because it’s free I guarantee you will want to buy the rest of the series.

obnoxious heroine

The story is enjoyable but the heroine is hard to like. I like a story with a strong heroine and I kept trying to see if she would grow on me and couldn't. I really wanted to finish the series to see what would happen but couldn't.

It’s an interesting book

The story has evolved and I’m quite interested in what’s going to happen next. So
Many great men love her and I’m happy for her they can learn to share! Her powers have grown and she hasn’t quite learned how to control them, she might end up loosing herself to them if she doesn’t learn soon.
