About this listen
Two alien dragon shifters. Two vampires. A whole new world. And I’m in the middle of it all.
One minute, I’m a 19-year-old woman trying to get through life, and the next second I’m in space, charged with saving the human race on an alien planet.
Four men show up vowing to love and protect me...except they aren’t men at all, they're alien dragon shifters and vampires.
They say we’re mates. I say they’re crazy.
I’m charged with a mission: Have their baby.
Um, how about no.
They say it’s destiny. I say I’m a long way from home!
Fire, Blood, and Beauty is a full-length, reverse-harem romance with passion and suspense, including elements from paranormal, sci-fi, and fantasy. There is no cliffhanger and a guaranteed happy ending!

Main Character needs work
The world building, basic plot, guys, and sex scenes worked for me, the main character did not. She wasn't believable, she was blissfully accepting of her situation for the most part, and, yes, listed all the reasons why she shouldn't be in her head before going with the incredibly sketchy flow. Sometimes that worked, but "I should be uncomfortable/scared but I'm not" only goes so far. Yes, sometimes she shows real character or she throws a temper tantrum (before being blissfully ok again) but it's not enough.
I think there is a lot of potential for a fantastic original RH, if it's taken back and edited with a more developed main character. My favourite thing about the RH I've read is that, generally, the main character is a strong independent person in her own right, yes something big happens that she normally needs the guys but she isnt a sheep, she doesn't meekly go with the flow of the guys, and ends up saving their butts more than once. There are usually other strong female side characters, as well, that support, lead, or act as enemies major and minor. That's not the case with this story. I didn't listen to the last hr, I couldn't, so she likely does save the day with her Spoiler Twilight-esque pregnancy somehow.
If you're only here for the sex scenes yea from as far as I read they are very hot, and start early but the few there are are not worth the credit. Also none are safe and 1 is not strictly consensual ("I want to have sex with you" after a couple glasses of really strong wine is not consent.).
Something went wrong. Please try again in a few minutes.
