Enjoyed all of it. The author and narrator were excellent. The Newfoundland accents were very accurate. I’ve read many books on audible but nothing that referred to places in the East Coast of Canada which is where I live. I was unsure at first but so glad I kept listening. Can’t wait to listen to the next one.

I enjoyed this book and was pleased it was included in my membership. I loved the NL setting, descriptions of the rugged landscape, and the glimpse into foreign aid work. It did drag a little here and there, but overall a good mystery with a little something different. The performance was okay - the accent was a little off and the narrator made it tough to stay focused. I am not sure if it’s because her tone is too soft or too consistent but something about it was just off for me. A good listen for mystery lovers waiting for monthly credits to drop. I have a feeling the book version would be good.
