John wasn't at all a good MC...the whole I want to have it all and you need to do all the sacrifices didn't sit well with me.

I am sorry; but it took every ounce of me to finish this book and many many months - I am not sure if it was the “singsong” voice of the hero or the Neridia’s character development- this book was boring

I found this series about a week ago and have been devouring since that time. This story is a bit drier than the other, but I think it’s likely because other characters are being introduced and story lines are being set up for the new spin offs.

The writer does spin a great tale for those of us who enjoy science fiction and shifter novels. Worth the credit 😉
